It simplifies material handling and dispensing in confined spaces. Its versatile and agile design is ideal for commercial or industrial businesses with medium and small warehouses with limited space.
“Adapting vehicle functions to meet business needs”
Understanding the diverse needs of various industries, Jen Bun Jerd can modify vehicles to better meet customer requirements. We'll use the example of a modification for an order picker used by a manufacturer of various types of car tires. They require constant movement of materials and equipment for parts production. Due to limited warehouse space, they couldn't use standard forklifts or tuggers. Previously, they relied solely on manual labor using handcarts.
We offered the EV-500 Order Picker which, with its compact size, perfectly met the customer's needs (as shown in the sample video, it's only slightly larger than a woman). We modified the rear cargo bed to allow towing, adding a rear hitch. This resulted in a vehicle that could replace 100% of manual labor, making material handling faster and more efficient.
Because of the changed functionality, safety features were added, including visual and audible signals. A flashing LED siren light was installed for greater visibility from a distance, and a forward/reverse audible warning signal was added to alert operators to approaching vehicles.
Additionally, we added 20mm thick rubber bumpers around the vehicle for impact protection, and raised the backrest for improved comfort and longer operation. The horn button was also relocated to the left side of the steering wheel to match the customer's usual operating habits, enabling immediate warnings in emergencies.
